LOVE ACTUALLY – is marvelous “actually.” Released in 2003, this Christmas picture is chock full of British heavy-weights at the top of their game. I discovered it for the first time last year. Since then I’ve learned it’s a cult classic. I understand why. This is not the typical smaltzy holiday film. This movie celebrates love is love is love…sometimes traditional, sometimes unkind, sometimes hard, sometimes surprising…and it is all portrayed honestly with warmth and humor amidst Christmas cheer. A charming gem that completely captured my heart! Merry Christmas! Cheers!
