A DISCOVERY OF WITCHES – Kelly calls it snoresville. She’s not wrong. It’s not as interesting as the books and a few of the actors, including the lead, Teresa Palmer, are flat in their delivery. Most of the cast is quite good however. I like it, but I don’t know I’d be able to follow it if I hadn’t read the books. On the written page, it’s a sophisticated trilogy of vampires, witches, daemons, time travel, romance and magic. Unfortunately, much was omitted to accommodate the screen adaptation. Cheers!
